Room For Improvement

A renovator's delight...

By Emma Kae - 15th May 2001 - Back to News

In the latest offspring of infotainment televission comes Room for Improvement, a Changing Rooms style program for Channel 7.

The show opens with a nominated person being selected to receive a room make over (unbeknown to them).

While the houseowner – unaware of the agenda for the Room For Improvement team – enjoys a holiday, the crew arrives under cover with a lot of work to do.

The challenge: they have just two days and $7500 to turn the worst room in the house into the best. The objective: do a top job, finish on time and stay as far under the budget as possible.

The website for Room For Improvement needs no improvement at all. It features a Virtual Tour, a 30 second summary of the previous episode, step by step instructions on how to create the look in your own home and a whole lot more.

You can chat, join discussion groups, even have your renovation questions answered by the pros. Its all here in your one stop home improvement shop.
