We hope we can get a better turnout this month. At the last meeting we decided to have a Christmas break up BBQ at the Bert Thompson reserve... the date will be decided at the November meeting. The BBQ held in the Kay Street gardens for the Police Open Day was a great success. Thanks to Tom, Pauline, Dave, Kaylene and all the others who helped with setting up, cooking and cleaning up. The police said it was a good day with over 300 people touring through the station. A letter of thanks has gone out to Hyland Street Butchers who donated the sausages and Hot Bread who donated the bread.
