Cape Paterson Submission ExtensionThe deadline for submissions about the proposed Cape Paterson Ecovillage Planning Scheme Amendment known as C53, has been extended. The closing date for submissions is now 30 January 2009. By Bass Coast Shire Council - 16th January 2009 - Back to News Bass Coast Shire Council’s Strategic Planning Coordinator, Martin Gill, said the time extension will give the local community more time to consider the proposal and any issues that may be raised by the proposed development.
"Council originally specified a deadline of 8 January 2009 for submissions on Amendment C53. However the Department of Planning and Community Development website advertised a deadline of 30 January 2009.
"As a result Council will accept submissions up to 30 January 2009 to avoid any confusion with the two dates," confirmed Mr Gill.
Amendment C53 has been on public exhibition since 5 December 2008. Members of the community who have already made comment on the amendment are welcome to make further submissions to Council. All submissions must be sent to Bass Coast Shire Council, PO Box 118, Wonthaggi VIC 3995.
