Grantville Transaction Centre Closed On 4 OctoberThe Grantville Transaction Centre will be closed all day on Thursday 4 October. By Bass Coast Shire Council - 2nd October 2007 - Back to News Work is being done to improve the reliability of Grantville’s electricity supply. This means that the Transaction Centre, along with other Grantville businesses, will be without power for the day.
Council’s Corporate Services Director, Danny Luna, said the electricity provider had just advised Council of the situation.
"Without electricity, the Centre won’t be able to function properly or offer its usual services," said Mr Luna.
"We do apologise if this inconveniences anyone. Unfortunately, the electricity situation is beyond our control.
"Our other Customer Service Centres will all be operating as normal. Any customer with a query or problem can also call us on 1300 BCOAST (1300 226 278) for the cost of a standard local call."
Mr Luna confirmed that the Grantville Transaction Centre would open again as usual on Friday 5 October.
