Highlights of the day included the launch of the new Civil and Environmental Engineering degree, the first showing by the Gippsland Education Precinct at the event, and the interactive displays throughout all eight university faculties. Dr Carol Adams, Head, School of Business & Economics at Monash Gippsland was a guest speaker at the ARIMA (Risk Management Association) Victoria State Conference held at the Park Hyatt, Melbourne last week. Dr Adams spoke on the reasons for the increasing focus on corporate social responsibility and transparency with respect to ethical, social and environmental activities and impacts.
