Votes Are In, Counting Is Over - But Who Are The Winners? Over 400 businesses have been nominated and over 5,000 votes counted in the Telstra Business Centre Traralgon People’s Choice Awards 2013. By LCBTA Inc - 17th May 2013 - Back to News Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Evening on Tuesday, 18 June 2013 at the Premiere Function Centre, Traralgon. The Gala Awards Evening will recognise those businesses in Latrobe City which have received the most votes for "Excellence in Customer Service".
The Latrobe City Business Tourism Association Inc in partnership with the Awards sponsors, Telstra Business Centre Traralgon, Prime7, TRFM & Gold 1242, Moe RSL, Gippsland Printers, Rural Access Program, Latrobe City Council, Destination Gippsland, iClean Services, Salts of the Earth, Visitor Information Centre, Valley Trophy Centre, GippsTAFE, Narkoojee Vineyard and Latrobe Valley Express, will present the Finalists and Winners in 13 categories with their Awards on the night.
Terry Sumner, Chair of the Latrobe City Business Tourism Association Inc said "The response from the local community and visitors to the area have been fantastic".
Mr Sumner added "Creating positive experiences for locals and visitors is vital to business success and economic sustainability in the Latrobe Valley. Customers value quality service and the People’s Choice Awards present an opportunity to recognise and reward businesses and community groups that excel."
Terry encouraged businesses to book as it will be an excellent opportunity to thank staff, build rapport and team spirit as well as inspire pride and improved service standards.
For tickets to attend the Gala Awards Evening, contact the Latrobe Visitor Information Centre on 1800 621 409. Tickets for the evening are $65 including canapés and complimentary drink upon arrival, two course dinner and entertainment throughout the evening.
