Fine wine, cheese, music, celebration and cinemaEnjoy an evening of fine wine, cheese, music, celebration and cinema By Bass Coast Shire Council - 30th November 2001 - Back to News Enjoy an evening of fine wine, cheese, music, celebration and cinema on Monday 3 December for only $10 at the Wonthaggi Community Arts Centre.
Jan Bourne, Project Officer with Council, said that everyone was invited to come along for an evening of fun, food and film to help celebrate the international day for people with a disability.
"The whole community is invited to what is sure to be a fantastically fun evening," said Jan.
Corks pop at 6.45pm with cheese and wine tasting. Not only will people be able to sample local fare, but it’s a terrific opportunity to purchase some Christmas presents.
While nibbling, people can view the inspirational 2002 National NICAN Photographic Exhibition.
"Bass Coast has been chosen to host the nationally acclaimed exhibition before it goes on an Australia-wide tour in 2002," said Jan. "The photographs are truly superb."
Local businesses will be presented with Access Awards from 7.45pm, the NICAN Exhibition will then be launched followed by a special screening of the movie "Cosi".
Cosi is a funny and entertaining Australian film that has delighted audiences everywhere.
