Providing Certainty for the Rawson School BusErica to Rawson’s school bus service will continue to operate. By Portal Admin - 15th September 2019 - Back to News The Andrews Labor Government is providing certainty for parents that the Erica to Rawson’s school bus service will continue.
Member for Eastern Victoria, Harriet Shing today confirmed the school bus service will continue - recognising that local families rely on the service to get children to and from school safely.
Ms Shing said she received a significant level of correspondence from parents, school community members, Baw Baw Shire, local Councillor Michael Leaney, residents of Rawson and many others who all conveyed the importance the service is to the town, and the effect it would have on the community if it were to be discontinued.
After a meeting with the Minister for Transport, Melissa Horne, Ms Shing confirmed the ongoing funding of the service.
The Andrews Labor Government has moved quickly and positively to ensure the Erica to Rawson school service will continue to operate.
