GippsTAFE teachers recieve recognition

GippsTAFE teachers Sandra and Mark Nestor have recently received their Masters of Education at a ceremony held at Melbourne University.

Mr Nestor is the Coordinator of GippsTAFE’s Safety and Construction Department and Ms Nestor is the Coordinator of GippsTAFE’s Centre for Business Studies and Information Technology.

The Master of Education is directed at practising professionals in a broad range of fields of education – early childhood, primary, secondary, tertiary, adult education and training.

Candidates for Master of Education are drawn from many backgrounds including teachers, lecturers, learning facilitators, trainers, human resource development practitioners, educational managers, program coordinators and private consultants working in schools and in organisations providing education and training.

Both of the teachers were presented with their awards at a ceremony held at Wilson Hall, Parkville Campus of Melbourne University by Professor Brian J Caldwell, Dean of the faculty of Education.
