Read Paul Ford's announcement regarding the soon leave of executive officer, Sue Webster, at Agribusiness Gippsland.

Paul Ford, chair of Agribusiness Gippsland writes: "Later this month our executive officer Sue Webster will leave Agribusiness Gippsland to take up an exciting new role as Communications Team Leader with the Farm Co-operatives and Collaboration Pilot Program. This is a two-year, $13.7m initiative detailed in the Agricultural White Paper and delivered by Southern Cross University in partnership with the Federal Government.

"Sue has been our executive officer for eight years. She brought to our organisation a broad network of contacts, passion for the Gippsland region, drive to increase productivity in the region’s 6500 farms and mentoring to develop young talent in the sector. Sue’s best known for the monthly GippyAgChat newsletter that is eagerly sought by more than 10,000 recipients. Readers are located around the world and GippyAgChat showcases the very best of agribusiness in the region.

"All the members of the board thank Sue for her significant contribution to building Agribusiness Gippsland. Her work has made a significant contribution to raising the importance of the sector to the Gippsland region. We wish her well in the exciting new role on which she is embarking."
