1967 Referendum Celebrations 20072007 is the 40th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum. The Referendum saw 90% of Australians vote to remove clauses from the Australian Constitution that discriminated against our Indigenous people. By Bass Coast Shire Council - 30th July 2007 - Back to News Celebrations will be held in Melbourne to mark this event. Everyone is welcome to attend the free activities.
