By Karen Gregory - 22nd October 2002 - Back to News

Latrobe-Wellington_StreetLife Women in Business Network Project will host its inaugural meeting on Thursday 31 October from 7.30am to 9.30am over breakfast at "310 on York" restaurant, York Street, Sale.

Guest speakers from the ATO will provide information on goods and services for small business, while popular local businesswoman Liz Watt, of Collins Booksellers, Sale will share her success story with the audience.

The project is aimed at women who like to network and meet others in similar roles to exchange stories and gather information.

Wellington Council Business Development Officer Sharon Fowler said that networking was important in business and private life.

"It encourages greater business-to-business arrangements and provides opportunities for information exchange and updates. "

"Women in Business provides professional women with a voice to air issues and concerns and explore the best way to resolve them."

If you would like to join the Network for breakfast, Project Consultant Angelika Clutterbuck can be contacted on 0421 658 048.
