Virtual postcards

Print them out and pin them up!

By Emma Kae - 31st May 2001 - Back to News

Virtual postcards… you can’t tack them to your fridge, but they are free and lots of fun!

What is an e-card? An e-card is a virtual creation, that often looks like a normal postcard – but on your screen! E-cards come in all shapes and sizes, some with pictures some with jokes, some with video, and all with your very own special message.

Why send an e-card? An e-card is a great, free way to communicate. You can send messages of love to your partner, giggles to your buddies or a smile to your mum, all with just a few clicks. There are literally hundreds of thousands to choose from, with something to suit everyone. Most are witty, cute or inspirational and best of all – you get the credit for them!

How do I send an e-card? There are lots of websites that offer their own e-card galleries, and you may like to search for one of your own. However, there is a really fantastic website that is fun and easy to use – perfect for a beginner! First of all there is the e-card page at Bored.com. Simply select an e-card by clicking on one you like. Fill in the details at the bottom of the page, add your own words of wisdom and click send!

Why not send an e-card right now? Click here to give it a spin!
