Nitpicking funAre you a nitpicker from way back? This website is for you! By Emma Kae - 3rd May 2001 - Back to News I like to watch films in silence. I happen to think that hearing at least 90% of the dialogue is a good thing. If you are sitting in the Village 8 cinema complex and you make a comment in the duration of the film only to receive a popcorn box in the head – I apologise.
Anyway, for the real movie buffs out there – those who like to announce to the cinema audience “hey, look at the microphone… it just bounced off the dragons forehead… there it goes again!” this website is for you. Nitpickers.com was created as the place for people to come to in order to find the mistakes on their favourite films, or to post their own finds.
For those of the general public who are less “in the know”, a nitpick ‘is any little detail, right or wrong, that you notice in a film’ (source: Nitpickers.com). However, it is in the critical nature of human beings to frequently point out the mistakes made in a film.
Whether you are interested in discovering how a film with a 20 million budget can still make mistakes, or are just a little curious, Nitpickers.com is sure to have something to interest you. See the site! Click here.
