UnzippedSparks fly for the creative as part of Youth Week Centrelink is running a national art competition as a Youth Week initiative.Destined to inspire young people to speak their mind on how they feel as part of today's world, the theme of the competition is "Being young in the year 2000". The competition is open to anyone aged between 15 and 25 years of age. Artwork submissions must be A2 or smaller and can be paintings, drawings, photographs, etchings or even electronic art. Prizes available include a colour t.v, playstations, sound systems and discmans. The winning artwork will be displayed on the cover of Centrelink's youth magazine, Unzipped. The competition aims to motivate and encourage youth to embrace art and express themselves. Unzipped is a great opportunity for local youth to show what they can do.
