Celebrate Mckillops Bridge 70Th BirthdayOn Saturday December 3 2005, from 10am to 4pm, activities will take place to celebrate McKillops Bridge 70th birthday. By Tubbut Resource Centre Neighbourhood House - 24th November 2005 - Back to News Such activities will take place on the banks of the Snowy River National park and on roadsides, where permissible. Due to the geographical position of the road, we are asking that people passing through on the day to be very aware of pedestrian traffic. Traffic Marshals will be in attendance throughout the day to direct traffic in a safely manner.
Mr David Shelton Regional Manager Vic Road will officiate the opening; the official opening will begin at 2pm and conclude at 3pm. Please be aware that during this hour the bridge will be closed to traffic.
