The program provides a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academia and business. Students will integrate theory and practice while undertaking work experience and employers will benefit from having a highly motivated business student with up to date knowledge and skills which will be readily applied to various organisation in Gippsland. ‘Hiring and Firing Public Managers: Returning Authority to Australian Politicians’ is the title of the Faculty of Business & Economic Research Seminar to be presented by Dr Len Pullin and Dr Ali Haidar on Tuesday, November 18 at • Making the GradeA workshop on Research and Commercialization Outcomes will be held on the Gippsland Campus on 24 November, 12-2. The workshop will introduce the challenges commercialization presents to University researchers, and for others to further build on their information and knowledge. The presenters will be Joe Varga and Graham Thurston (Business Development Managers for Courseware/Professional Development in Faculty of Science). Joe and Graham both have science backgrounds in additional to expertise in sales, marketing, law, and intellectual property.
