Darren Chester announced the near completion of Orbost Forest Park's $1.8 million upgrade, funded by $1.3 million from the Federal Government and $500,000 from East Gippsland Shire.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester says the major upgrade of the Orbost Forest Park facilities is almost completed, and it's set to be a hit with locals and visitors.

Mr Chester secured $1.3 million from the previous Federal Government for the project, and the East Gippsland Shire Council has also contributed more than $500,000. A new playground and toilet block, along with increased parking and the installation of a picnic area, will encourage more visitors to take a break in Orbost and explore the Snowy River region.
