Darren Chester praises Sale Food Support for helping families in need with government funding and calls for more help from locals
Federal Member Darren Chester commends Sale Food Support Inc for aiding families in financial distress, thanks to government funding. Contact for assistance, volunteering, or donations.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester has congratulated a local charity for helping families dealing with the cost of living crisis. Sale Food Support Inc is a local charity which offers groceries to those finding it difficult to provide enough food for their families. "I dropped in to have a look at their facility and congratulate the team on receiving $2,500 from the federal government's Volunteer Grants Program," Mr Chester said.

Mr Chester added, "This funding will help workers with costs associated with the volunteering of their time and enable the purchase of much needed equipment. In addition, it will enable the group to spread the word on where they are, and what they do."
