Benefits to the community

These assessments will be undertaken on all council owned pathways and open space areas. The information gained from this exercise will be used to inform council's Renewal Programs for footpaths and open space assets such as retaining walls, park furniture, footpaths, shared trails etc. These assessments are fully funded by the council's operations budget.

What to Expect

There will be vehicles driving around council's pathways and open space areas to collate data and assess the assets we have; pathways will mostly be inspected using SCARTT ATV vehicles as pictured.

The speed on these vehicles are limited and approvals from VicPol will be secured. All drivers are suitably trained and qualified to operate these vehicles and equipment. Some pathways will be inspected on foot. All AGIS Inspectors will be identifiable with hi-vis, logos and Identification badges.
