Community feedback wanted amendment to north of Baldwin Road in Traralgon in plan for future residential growth
Latrobe City Council is planning for future growth and is inviting the community to provide feedback on a proposed expansion of residential development to the north of Traralgon.
The exhibition period for Amendment C138, North of Baldwin Road, Traralgon is now open. The amendment proposes to rezone land north of Baldwin Road, Traralgon from Farming Zone - to General Residential Zone. The Development Plan Overlay is also proposed to be applied to the land.
Amendment C138 - North of Baldwin Road, Traralgon Public Exhibition commences on 19 January 2023 and submissions close on 22 February 2023
Review and send feedback
The amendment is available for public inspection, free of charge, during business hours at:
- Corporate Headquarters, 141 Commercial Road, Morwell
- Traralgon Service Centre, 34-38 Kay Street, Traralgon
- Moe Service Centre, 1-29 George Street, Moe
- Churchill Service Centre, 9-11 Phillip Parade, Churchill

The amendment can be inspected at the Department of Transport and Planning website. Community members have an opportunity to share their feedback by making a submission before 5.00pm, Wednesday 22 February.

Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan said community knowledge on planning scheme amendments is important. "Ensuring our community has opportunities to review planning scheme amendments that may affect them is crucial."
