Wellington Shire Council is receiving a high volume of calls and visits from residents with questions related to the upcoming Local Government elections. We would like to remind the community that Wellington Shire Council is not involved in the administration of the election process.

Council is advising all election-related questions and concerns to be directed to the VEC. For assistance, please contact the VEC directly at 131 832 or visit their website at Victorian Electoral Commission website.
Common queries include:
- Questions about not receiving postal votes
- General election-related queries
- Requests to contact candidates
- Residents dropping their ballot papers off at Customer Service Centres
- Issues with incorrect addresses or family members being overseas
- Concerns over the limited early voting location in Fulham
