Since 1992 these log cottages have provided self catering accommodation for families, couples and small groups visiting this region, in particular the famous Buchan Caves, Snowy River and Alpine National Parks, Little River Gorge and Falls and McKillops Bridge - all popular attractions high on visitations. Situated only 650 metres north of post office with magnificent views, some of our guests visit regularly for a well earned break. In this tranquil setting we know you will 'Awaken to the Sounds of Nature.'

To spend the evening around a campfire enjoying toasted marshmallows is a rare experience for international visitors and their friends. A bushwalk in the caves reserve where kangaroos, wallabies and wombats are in their natural habitat and to hear the birds such as kookaburras, magpies, bellbirds and beatiful parrots, to only mention a few; even maybe sighting a lyre bird is a highlight of the trip.
Autumn is a special time to visit with our beutiful trees in their glorious colours, but the area is noted for its mild climate.
Buchan is a stop over for travellers heading through Jindabyne, quite a scenic route, open all year.
