A growing option for the promotion of your web-site is a link exchange. It's easy, free and can direct your market to your business. So what is a link exchange? It's a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" agreement between two sites to create a link to the other on their site.

With a little thinking you can develop a link exchange that targets your market audience, for example, if your site sells hammers, you may want to exchange links with a company that sells nails.
