Tell us your opinion See what others have saidWho wants to be a Millionaire is a show that quickly grabbed the attention of the Australian public. Whether our interest is born from the hot-seat tension, the tip of the tongue questions or simply the pure attraction of greed, this is one series that did not go unnoticed.
The show first aired in Australia in April of 1999. Since then, over 120 people have sat in the competition seat. Millionaire has handed over $4 million plus since it started in Australia. Quite a percentage of this has been donated to charity through special celebrity-competitor episodes.
The online version - spawned from its small screen counterpart – is no disappointment to the high expectations of the intellectual fans of the show. It features a great basic run-down of the show, a history of events, official rules / terms and conditions, directions for entry and links to the American online Millionaire game.
The online game can be found on the American Millionaire website, where you can enter the sweepstakes or just play for fun. There is no actual money awarded for correct responses, but it is a lot of fun in a Monopoly kind of way.
