Join research for report on Welfare Reform Your support and help is required for us to make this successful By DSP Australia Inc. - 27th January 2003 - Back to News DSP Australia Inc, is inviting interested people to become involved in research for an upcoming report on ' Welfare Reform' - DSP pensioners returning to the work-place, and how this can be done for those who are unable to maintain a job.
DSP pensioners will be provided with access to the National Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, when discharged from hospital. Home services will also be provided to them through HACC services from Local Councils. Affordability and accessibility is of concern to us no matter where you live.
Those interested, please join in with us as our report [so far] is tabled for the sitting of the Parliament 4th February. The presentation will be made under our own umbrella and not via another group, as we have made it clear to the Government that we wish to be listened to independently with the view of having corrected many wrongs.
Your support and help is required for us to make this successful with as many DSP pensioners to be involved as possible. Those who hold a Health Care Card that are waiting to go on to the DSP pension are welcome to join in as well.
To be involved, please contact DSP Australia Inc. National Office, PO Box 2092, Werribee, 3030, Victoria, Australia.
