Easter Buns For Meals On Wheels Special Easter delivery to light up the holidays By Latrobe City Council - 28th March 2002 - Back to News Tell us your opinion See what others have said On Monday, Latrobe City’s Meals on Wheels volunteers made a special Easter delivery to the 380 Meals on Wheels recipients in the municipality.
In addition to their usual tasty, hot meal each person received a hot cross bun courtesy of Baker’s Delight in Traralgon.
In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, a number of the volunteers wore bunny ears whilst doing their rounds and brought a smile to the faces of the special people who receive this invaluable service.
And not to overlook the generosity of the volunteers, the Easter Bunny also made them a special delivery – in the form of an Easter Egg each.
