Neighbourhood Watch leads pilot training program!Keep your eye on Neighbourhood Watch By Emma Kae - 20th November 2001 - Back to News Neighbourhood Watch (NHW), one of Australia’s finest organisations, works to achieve the ultimate safety in your residential vicinity. The local branch of NHW (located in Churchill) has moved from a literal representation to a virtual experience.
Now proving their merit on-line, NHW have created an informative website that is dedicated to making the news of the local neighbourhoods available to the public in one central location.
Churchill NHW will be the first organisation to pilot the .WEB services of Messenger when they are trained how to add to and maintain their website in early December.
Training will ensure that NHW staff is able to easily add, edit, and delete web pages as they need. All that is required for training to take place is a computer connected to the Internet and Internet Explorer 5.5 or above.
It is anticipated that the website will soon be active in communicating NHW news to local and global audiences.
