Tell us your opinion See what others have saidLike the idea of making money from your dot com without the shopping cart, credit card and order fulfilment hassles?
Without selling anything at all to the shopping public, a webpage can still be a profitable means of business.
By taking time to create a site that will attract a large number of visitors, you can make money by selling advertising space to other e-businesses. Every business wants their advertisement to be seen by as many potential consumers as possible. If you have a page that generates a lot of attention, you may have to fight off bidders.
However, one cannot just whip something up, upload it and hope someone looks at it. A lot of planning must go into directing traffic onto your site. You will need to research how you can make your dot com interesting, informative and fun. What fresh inspiration will bring people back time and again? How will you introduce your site to the world? Who is your target market?
After you have created a mind-blowing web-site set to excite the internet literate world, you will also need to develop a strategy to get the profitable side of your endeavour off the ground. This means advertising strategies, traffic analyses and generating sales leads.
You will need to be not only a master of the web, but also of business management. But don't be put off. Though it may not seem as easy as winning Catchphrase, a little hard work and effort could mean the success of a great venture.
There is a definite future in e-advertising, profitable and enjoyable. You could be the one leading the way.
