Moe Revitalisation Project to have stage two completed by mid-December 2022
Latrobe City Council is one step closer to delivering Stage Two of the Moe Revitalisation Project as works begin this December.
Stage Two will reimagine the existing car park in George Street, creating a vibrant shared youth precinct and public open space for the community to enjoy. The new space will include a skate park catered for beginners to intermediate skaters, play space, barbeque and picnic areas along with green spaces and associated amenities. The project will be constructed by Multipro Civil and is expected to be completed by mid-2023.

Long-awaited project
Mayor of Latrobe City, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan was pleased to see that works will begin on a long-awaited project for the local community. "Stage Two of the Moe Revitalisation Project will continue the reimagining work of Moe's Central Business District and bring to life the considerable input provided by our community."
"This is an exciting time, but we understand there may be some concerns in relation to parking during the works. Every effort will be made to minimise the impact, including to ensure as many car parks are available as possible in the lead up to Christmas.
"We look forward to watching the works progress over the coming months and for our community to access the space next year," said the Mayor. Further information on stage two of the project is available at Stage 2 - Moe Revitalisation Project website.
