Systems Engineer

Gippsland’s leading Managed Services provider is seeking a Systems Engineer with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our IT service delivery team.

The Systems Engineer is a major contact point for many of Viatek Sage’s clients and requires liasing with clients, suppliers and other staff members and providing high quality products and services to our client base. This position requires an enthusiastic, client and team orientated person who is capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, resources and priorities and developing an on open and supportive relationship with the Viatek Sage team.

Key responisibilites include:

• Providing computer support for clients including line of business applications support, problem analysis and vendor managemen
• Providing high level support, strategic advice, and/or management of, information systems, networks, including hardware, software, network design and troubleshooting

Qualifications and Experience

Preferable:  Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Computing with a minimum of three years’ appropriate experience or at least five years’ appropriate industry experience with an industry-recognised qualification such as Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Citrix Network Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate or Cisco Certified Network Professional or the ability to quickly attain these qualifications.
