Friday July 26
Lava Lounge - Pump'n - The time has come for the underage patrons of Gippsland to get out on the town and party hard. Amazing prizes - including V.I.P. party tickets for free pool, drinks and the company of a celebrity for you and 20 of your friends, limousine rides and more. Also, one of Australia's hottest celebrities, Beau Brady ('Noah' from Home And Away) will be coming soon to the Lava Lounge. All will be revealed at this weekend's celebrations. Darnum Musical Village - Sunday Basket Lunch - This month's afternoon of great musical entertainment will include Albert Fox featuring Magic With Music and support from Sue Oldham and Joe Omar, folk and ballad vocalist/instrumentalists. Entry is $14 and the day begins at 12:30 pm. Bring your lunch to munch on as you take in the action. Some seats are available at the door but we recommend you book now on 5627 8235.

West Gippsland Arts Centre - West Side Story - Warragul Regional College has a long history of presenting fantastic theatre, and this year is expected to be no exception with the showing of 'West Side Story' at the West Gippsland Arts Centre. Directed by drama teacher Maggie Morrison has worked hard to convey the important themes of racial tension and violence in New York with commitment and tolerance. Tickets are Adults - $10, Students $8, Family $34. Phone 5623 9900 for more information. 
 
Saturday August 3
West Gippsland Arts Centre - Talking Heads A new show by Alan Bennett, featuring Joan Sydney and Andrew McFarlane in their best roles to date. The production will take place from 8:00 pm onward at the West Gippsland Art Centre. Bookings are essential and can be made on 5624 2456.
 
Sunday August 4
Downtowner TAB and Bistro - Jazz In The Evening -  A night of fantastic music with Melbourne jazz band Maurie's Jolly Rollers. A beautiful 2 course smorgasbord will be available from 5:30pm at a great price of $11. Saturday August 24
Downtowner TAB and Bistro - Absolutely Barbara - A one woman tribute show with entertainer Di Faulkner as Barbara Striesand. Faulkner has already performed on impressive variety shows such as In Melbourne Tonight, the Don Lane Show and Good Morning Australia, in addition to the Lord Mayor's Ball for Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and the MCG for the Pope. Join her on her musical journey through the life of the divine Ms. Striesand. The show runs from 8:30 - 11:30 pm and tickets are $15.
