Committee for Gippsland Strategic Plan 2021/24 to support jobs and investment for regions
Following a thorough review in 2020, this new strategy aims to build a stronger and more relevant Committee for Gippsland, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our organisation
Growing investment, advocating for key infrastructure projects, promoting the region's liveability and opportunities while continuing to grow Gippslan's leadership are all strategic priorities set out in the Committee for Gippsland's 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.
The Committee for Gippsland exists to create a thriving and sustainable future for Gippslanders by helping to attract investment and jobs and continuing to be the region's advocate
Advocating for the region
Mr Pallas said, "The past 18 months has seen significant policy changes, droughts and bushfires and a global pandemic creating major disruption for businesses and communities, and our Strategic Plan will play an important role in advocating for our region's future." Committee for Gippsland Chair.
"The future is bright in Gippsland, and the Victorian government looks forward to working with the Committee for Gippsland to support jobs and investment growth across the region as we bounce back from the economic challenges of the coronavirus pandemic," Treasurer Tim Pallas said.
