Three Bin System Saves 77% of Kerbside Waste from Landfill
Three-bin system in Bass Coast diverted a huge 77 per cent of kerbside waste from landfill.
Since the three-bin system was introduced in Bass Coast in September last year, the community has diverted a huge 77 per cent of kerbside waste from landfill. This includes 8,841 tonnes of organic waste which has been composted and reused as organic fertiliser for food production.
