Gippsland Water launches pop-up events inviting Latrobe Valley residents to help shape future water services and planning decisions

Gippsland Water will host pop-up events across the Latrobe Valley, inviting community feedback to help shape future water services, pricing, and infrastructure planning.

Gippsland Water will hold a series of pop-up events across the Latrobe Valley, providing an opportunity for locals to help shape the future of the region’s water and wastewater services. Community members will be able to speak to Gippsland Water team members face-to-face to provide feedback and inform decision making on the organisation’s 2027 Urban Water Strategy and 2028-33 Price Submission.

These two important documents outline future services, prices, infrastructure investments and plans for water security. At the pop-ups, community members can also sign up to the organisation’s Sounding Board, where they receive invitations to engagement activities that guide future decisions and outcomes for the organisation. Pop-up events throughout the Latrobe Valley include:

  • Mid Valley Morwell, Thursday, 23 April, 10am - 2pm
  • Mother’s Day Classic Traralgon and Toongabbie, Sunday, 10 May, 9am - 11.30am
  • Woolworths Moe, Thursday, 28 May, 10am - 2pm
