Engineering Opportunities

VicRoads, a Statutory Corporation within the Victorian Government infrastructure portfolio, has the purpose to deliver social, economic and environmental benefits to communities throughout Victoria by managing the Victorian arterial road network and its use as an integral part of the overall transport system. They employ over 2500 people and are currently involved in many large projects across the state.

Traralgon is an easy two hour drive from Melbourne on the South Eastern Freeway. Traralgon offers great local dining and retail options and is also located within an hour's drive to the beach and Mt Baw Baw, providing hiking and bike riding activities during summer and skiing and snowboarding activities in winter. The Region offers a fantastic combination of good living, entertainment and lifestyle options.

VicRoads Eastern Region, based out of Traralgon, are currently on a major recruitment drive to employ qualified engineers in the following positions:

·         Construction & Maintenance Officer

·         Maintenance Program Co-ordinator

·         Program Delivery Engineer

·         Project Delivery Engineer

·         Senior Construction Maintenance Engineer

·         Traffic Management Engineer

All positions require an Engineering technical and educational background preferably with experience in the development and/or delivery of road construction and maintenance projects. Those with only limited experience however are also strongly encouraged to apply! Sound written and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite.

Short to preferably long term contracts are available with excellent hourly rates to match your experience level.  There is a strong possibility that these positions will become permanent after a short period of time.
