Our client is one of the largest Community Health organisations in Victoria located in the Latrobe Valley. Employing 380 staff and with an operating budget of around $25 million, the organisation requires an experienced and dedicated professional to undertake this important clinical support role.
Reporting to the Manager Quality, Clinical Governance & Records, the Clinical Educator and Practice Excellence Coordinator will develop, implement, manage and evaluate research and education activities for Latrobe Community Health Service, to assist in the achievement of clinical excellence. This will include review and evaluation of existing clinical practice interventions supported by a planned and implemented professional development program that promotes best practice. In addition the role will also require the Clinical Educator and Practice Excellence Coordinator to support Latrobe Community Health Service staff undertaking research activities.
An undergraduate or postgraduate tertiary qualification in a health related/social policy field is required. You will also be able to demonstrate experience in the provision of clinical education in a healthcare setting and knowledge of contemporary clinical research practices. Demonstrated experience in report and submission writing is also required. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate lateral thinking capability and excellent problem solving skills.
This position is a 12 month fixed term contract . The position will be based in Morwell. An attractive remuneration package is being offered and can be negotiated commensurate with your experience. Full position details can be obtained from our website at:
